Ssang Yong Korando

The Ssang Yong Korando is a passenger car produced by the South Korean company SsangYong. It was first introduced to the market in 1993 in two body styles: 3-door and 5-door framed jeep. This car is ideal for people from that category who periodically have to overcome difficult sections of the road. Strong and economical, a real SUV - this is how you can characterize the Ssang Yong Korando without exaggeration. Equipped with a diesel engine with automatic or manual transmission, this car pleases its owners with unpretentiousness and ease of maintenance. And the capacity of this machine allows you to use it for business purposes as well.

To our domestic motorist, this vehicle is better known as the Tagaz Tiger. This is due to the fact that since 2008, the Tagaz automobile plant in Taganrog has begun producing Tagaz Tager, which is a complete licensed copy of Korando. Despite the change in manufacturer, the car was not subject to any changes whatsoever and was produced in a configuration with a turbocharged  engine 661  or  engine 662

Automatic transmission Korando

It is far from a secret that many Korean automobile concerns at the very beginning of their formation took units from Japanese and European manufacturers as the basis for their cars. So, for example, an internal combustion engine and transmissions developed by Mercedes engineers are installed in the engine compartment of Korando.  The SsangYong Korando automatic can be one of the following:

  • 4 stupas - BTR 74
  • 4 mortars - 7202710201
